Unless an arrangement has been made with your clinician, all payments must be made at the end of each therapy session. New Insights, LLC accepts the following methods of payment:
Like most private practitioners in Milwaukee, New Insights, LLC is an out-of-network provider for many insurances. That means we do not accept insurance directly. However, we make the reimbursement process as turnkey as possible by providing all the necessary paperwork, including receipts and diagnosis codes, in a timely fashion. We require that payment be made at the end of each session.
**2017 Update: New Insights, LLC is now an in-network behavioral health provider for WEA Trust Health Insurance.
At the end of each month, a statement of services will be provided to you in person or via email. This form should be submitted to your insurance company, along with a health insurance claim form, to receive payment. Most insurance carriers process each claim like any other medical claim. If your insurer requires forms to authorize your treatment, you and your clinician can review the information together before releasing it to your insurer. Should any questions arise about services, please feel free to have them contact your doctor directly.
A Note About Using Insurance
If you decide to forgo the use of insurance and pay out-of-pocket for sessions, there are certain advantages to doing so. For example, if you choose not to use insurance, New Insights, LLC will not have to release information about your treatment to an insurance company, including a mental health diagnosis. Additionally, most insurers will limit the number of sessions you are able to attend each year. Deciding not to use insurance means that you and your clinicians will be able to meet for as many sessions as are helpful for you. This provides you with greater control over your treatment, and eliminates the influence of a third party.
It is important that you choose the method of payment that works best for you. Paying out-of-pocket can provide greater control and privacy for your treatment, while using insurance may ease financial stress. We encourage you to carefully consider the pros and cons of either choice so that you are able to make an informed decision. As always, please check with your insurance company regarding mental-health benefits and out-of-network benefits.
Cancellations And Reschedules
Continuity of care and making treatment a priority is imperative for therapy to be effective. All cancellations/reschedules must be made within 24 hours notice of your scheduled appointment time to avoid being billed for the session.
Many insurance companies will ask for detailed provider information, which will be provided on each invoice to every client and/or guarantor including license information and National Provider Identification Numbers (NPI). These will be made available to you upon request.
